Construction Alert: Jan. 20-22, 2026

Nighttime road closures on South Palm Canyon Drive will continue Tuesday, Jan. 20, through Thursday, Jan. 22, as crews complete gas line installation and related work.

Traffic Impacts:

– Tuesday, Jan. 20 through Thursday, Jan. 22

– Nightly closures from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.

– South Palm Canyon Drive closed in both directions between E. Sunny Dunes Road and Mesquite Avenue

– Detour in place via Belardo Road

– The Sunny Dunes Road traffic signal will be on flash during nighttime work hours

No construction or road closures will occur on Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Neighbors may experience typical nighttime construction noise and lighting. Crews will make efforts to complete louder work activities before 9 p.m. Gas service will not be affected.

Businesses remain open and accessible during construction.
