Construction Alert: Week of February 2, 2026

Lane closures are planned on South Palm Canyon Drive on Friday, Feb. 6, as crews place the base layer of asphalt over completed gas line work.

Traffic Impacts:
Friday, Feb. 6 | 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
– Lane closures on S. Palm Canyon Drive from just south of E. Sunny Dunes Drive to just south of the bridge
– Flaggers will assist motorists through the construction area, one lane at a time

Please plan for delays, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes when possible. Gas line work is complete and bridge construction will continue.

Businesses remain open and accessible during construction.

Looking Ahead:
Work continues to complete the first half of the bridge in preparation for the Traffic Flip in late February 2026. The Traffic Flip will move traffic onto the new western bridge span for construction to begin on the eastern side of bridge.
