Construction originally scheduled to begin Monday, April 7, is temporarily postponed.  The construction team is re-evaluating environmental mitigation measures before moving forward. An updated schedule will be shared once available. 

Environmental mitigation is moving forward to address nesting birds in the project area; bridge construction is tentatively planned to begin Monday, April 7.

Construction on the South Palm Canyon Bridge Project will not begin March 10 as planned due to environmental compliance. The construction management team is working to address environmental issues and reschedule work on South Palm Canyon Drive as soon as possible. A revised start date will be shared once it becomes available.  

Construction activities begin Monday, March 10. Lane closures in both directions planned in the project area.
