Construction Alert: July 16, 2025

Utility work planned in the project area; please allow extra travel time

Businesses are open during construction.

Desert Water Agency (DWA) will perform utility work near Sunny Dunes Road and S. Palm Canyon Drive starting Wednesday, July 16 through next week.

The week of July 23, the construction team will begin installing a new waterline and removing sections of the storm drain on S. Palm Canyon Dr., just north of the bridge.

Construction on the bridge is progressing; crews expect to complete shoring for the bridge footings in the next week.
