Construction Alert: Week of Jan. 12, 2026

Nighttime road closures are scheduled on South Palm Canyon Drive beginning Monday, Jan. 12, at 6 p.m.

Traffic Impacts
Week of Jan. 12 | Nighttime road closure  
– Monday through Friday | 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. 
– Full road closure of South Palm Canyon Drive between E. Sunny Dunes Road and Mesquite Avenue. 
– Detour in place via Belardo Road. 
– The E. Sunny Dunes Road traffic signal will be on flash during nighttime work hours

Expect delays and plan ahead. Businesses remain open and accessible during construction. 

What to Expect 
– Crews will complete gas line installation work and relocate palm trees in preparation for the Phase 2 Traffic Flip. 
– Neighbors may experience typical nighttime construction noise and lighting. Gas service will not be affected.
– Work may continue into the following week if needed. 

Please plan ahead and use alternate routes.
