Construction Alert: Week of January 26, 2026

The nighttime road closures on South Palm Canyon Drive will be extended from Monday, Jan. 26, through Wednesday, Jan. 28, as crews complete gas line installation and related work.

Traffic Impacts:

– Monday, Jan. 26 through Wednesday, Jan. 28

– Nightly closures from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

– South Palm Canyon Drive closed in both directions between E. Sunny Dunes Road and Mesquite Avenue

– Detour in place via Belardo Road

– The Sunny Dunes Road traffic signal will be on flash during nighttime work hours

Neighbors may experience typical nighttime construction noise and lighting. Crews will make efforts to complete louder work activities before 9 p.m. Gas service will not be affected.

Businesses remain open and accessible during construction.
