SCHEDULE CHANGE: Week of Feb. 16, 2026

Due to recent weather impacts, the daytime paving activities have been moved to Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6 a.m. Repairs to the traffic signal will be rescheduled.

Traffic Impacts:

Thursday, Feb. 19 | Starting at 6 a.m.
• Crews will pave the outside southbound lane on South Palm Canyon Drive starting just north of E. Sunny Dunes Road.
• Traffic control will be in place through the intersection.
• Flaggers will assist construction trucks entering and exiting the project area.
• Motorists may experience brief, minor delays.
• Business access will be maintained.

Please reduce speed and use caution when traveling through the project area.

Looking ahead:
The Traffic Flip onto the new western bridge span is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25, in the afternoon. Traffic will shift onto the newly reconstructed western span, and crews will begin demolition of the eastern bridge span.

Businesses remain open and accessible during construction.
